Mini-Finney’s and Kids Jiu-Jitsu
Our Mini-Finney’s and Kids Jiu-Jitsu programs focus on promoting great attitude, discipline, and respect in our young students while teaching them confidence-building self-defense techniques.
Martial arts is a valuable tool for helping children and preteens stay mentally and physically active, instilling them at a young age with the value of fitness and learning, all the while they’re having fun!
We also incorporate rewards systems in our classes, such as belting, in order to promote the value of physical fitness and achieving goals. Kids MMA and Kids Jiu-Jitsu is an amazing way to fight child obesity or attention issues! Our students stay in shape and learn while having a blast!
Lead by striking instructor Erik Steenburg, our kickboxing class is an excellent method for getting in shape while learning a valuable self-defense tool. Classes are structured toward burning calories, working up a sweat, and learning striking techniques that help build confidence. And, of course, having fun is always a priority!
We have mens, womens, and COED kickboxing classes, and we are happy to say that all walks of life come to Finney’s MMA to learn self-defense and lose weight. Our members are young and old, all shapes and sizes!
Few teams in the country can attest to the camaraderie that exists between members of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Finney’s MMA. Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team is just that–a team, and we pride ourselves on the loyalty and respect that our BJJ program fosters amongst its members, young and old.
BJJ will get you in great shape, utilizing all the muscles in the body, building speed, strength, and endurance while burning calories. Several of our students have dropped dozens of pounds!
